Delighted to have Murphy appear in the latest addition of Lake District and Lancashire Life magazine. Featured in the ‘Great Outdoors’ section, and titled ‘Mane Atttraction’, Murphy looked the absolute star!
International photography competition
The article was highlighting my latest achievement, coming secong in the Wildlife and Animals Category at the Global Chromatic Photography Awards.
“He’s such a special horse,” commented Emma, “so I’m really pleased to see Murphy’s portrait getting worldwide recognition.”
Home bred and owned by Paul and Debbie Hutchinson – Cartmel, based near Greystoke, this gentle Appaloosa giant, officially known as, ‘Foxwood Murphy’, has enjoyed an incredible career, competing successfully with Debbie at the Great Yorkshire and Cheshire County Shows, as well as qualifying for Royal International Horse Show.
“Murphy has been photographed many times, especially in the show ground” commented Debbie, ‘but never has an image really focused on his personality. It’s such a powerful photograph, that really shows his kind soul. We absolutely love it.”
Murphy is now enjoying a wonderful retirement with Tracey Oliphant.
