As part of my wedding packages I offer a complimentary pre wedding shoot. But why should you have one? Here are my top reasons x
You get to meet your photographer
This I feel is really important before your big day. It’s a chance to meet over coffee and cake and to have a good chat. Getting to know each other beforehand is really useful, so you can be reassured who I am and just how I’ll interact with you and your guests on your wedding day.
And I’ll get to know you better
It’s a brilliant opportunity to find out more about you, your personalities and how you connect with each other. To hear what’s important to you both and what you’re both looking forward to on your big day.
Getting to know the finer details
And I always get excited when listening to how the wedding plans are shaping up! A pre-wedding photo shoot is a great opportunity to explore timings for selected shots and see how I can best help cover the day.
Lake District Landscape
I love to photograph my pre-wedding shoots in locations of the Lake District that are very special to my couples. The aim of the day, is to produce great photographs, which they can take away and mean something to them. And perfect to use as part of your invitations or save the date cards!
Some of my couples are uncomfortable having their photograph taken, but my goal at the end of the pre-wedding shoot, is for you to feel much more relaxed. It’s not every day the camera is there taking your photograph, so I like to chat to my couples about poses and see what they feel most comfortable with.
“Just wanted to say a massive thanks for our brilliant pre-wedding engagement shoot. We had loads of fun and feel much more relaxed now about photos on the big day. The images are really beautiful – something to really treasure.”Rebecca Brown
