Early start to a great day
Working in partnership with the online gardening publication ‘Reckless Gardener‘ I was lucky enough to gain a pass to photograph at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The early start was not for the faint hearted, (entering the show ground at 5.30am), but I was soon rewarded by the morning sun rise, showing off the gardens to their best. You have to work quick, as by 8am the light was so bright, it had started to bleach the photographs.
My favourite garden that I kept on returning again and again to photograph, was the Winton Beauty of Mathematics Garden. I also adored the L’Occitane Garden designed by James Basson and the Morgan Stanley Garden, designed by Chris Beardshaw for the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
If you’ve never visited, it’s well worth the trip. For information on RHS shows this year – click here.
