Overall Image of the Year

The Guild has very demanding standards when judging photographic competitions. The judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photography backgrounds.  They felt Emma’s image portrayed a timeless capture, with incredible detail and showing so much of the character of the subject”.

Equine Image of the Year

On hearing the news Emma commented “I couldn’t quite believe it. You work all year to achieve ‘Equine Photograph of the Year’, competing against some of the best equine photographers in the country, so to win my category, was really very special. But to then go on and take overall ‘Image of the Year’, (judges category) was just crazy.

“The Guild is an amazing organisation that encourages development and skills within the Photography industry.  I feel very honored to have been awarded ‘Image of the Year.”
