MY STYLE

Apologies but I’m now fully booked for in 2020 and 2021.

I am a documentary photographer, whose style is to work discreetly and in an unobtrusive way, capturing your day’s wonderful moments and special touches.

Although I am happy to rally family and guests around for some group shots if required, my main style of work reduces any intrusions or interference with the flow of your special day.

Photographing a wedding is a huge honour and to get the best out of my services, I always recommend we meet initially over coffee or Skype/Facetime to chat through your requirements.

From there, I often recommend to my clients to have a pre-wedding shoot. They’re a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better. You’ll get a feel for how I’ll interact with you and your guests on your wedding day, and it’s an opportunity for me to find out more about you, your likes and dislikes, and an enjoyable and relaxing way.

To give my couples so much more flexibility, I don’t have standard wedding package. Instead I have one flat fee per hour. You just decide when you want me and what you’d like me to capture. So whether that be a few hours for an elopement or several days of a big party! For more details click here.

– YOUR QUESTIONS –
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU DO A YEAR?

I pride myself on the care and time I dedicate to all my clients, and I therefore carefully manage my bookings to ensure that the service I provide is of the highest quality possible.

WHAT IF MY PARTNER IS NOT COMFORTABLE HAVING THEIR PHOTO TAKEN?

If you’re not used to being in the limelight, sometimes the thought of having your photograph taken on your big day can feel daunting. However I would encourage couples to take advantage of my pre-wedding engagement shoot (complimentary if you book me for 4 hours or more). It’s a great opportunity for you to get to know me and the camera. We’ll talk about all aspects of capturing your big day, and some tips to help you relax. On your wedding day, I’ll hopefully be just Emma with her camera, rather than the ‘official photographer’.

WHY PURCHASE AN ALBUM?

The choice is entirely yours. In this digital era, it’s sometimes hard to see why they are a necessity. However the albums I can provide for you are made from the highest quality materials and will, unlike some printing formats available, last a lifetime. They are most definitely something to cherish and can be physically handed down to your children and grandchildren.

WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO SHARE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS WITH GUESTS?

All my couples receive a complimentary online private gallery. This will be available for you and guests to access for up to 2 months after your wedding day. From the gallery, you can order prints and canvases straight from the award winning printers, Loxley’s.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

Yes. I have professional indemnity cover with Infocus Photography Insurance.  I am also a qualified member of the Guild of Photographers and accredited to the SJA and IAPS.
